It was a wonderful surprise and delight to hear from Salt Ash Primary School in November 2023. Kids there had noticed that other families are struggling and they wanted to help them out at Christmas. They had heard of Hampers With Heart through our Tanilba Bay Op Shop. They called our Donor Services Team to check if it was ok for a school to nominate. Of course we said yes!
Gail was delighted to personally deliver the Hampers and thank the School Leaders and staff for helping people in need.
Jess, one of the staff members, shared how when she phoned the 5 families to let them know they would be receiving a Christmas Miracle through Hampers With Heart they were very grateful, with a couple of mums moved to tears to know they had been seen in the midst of their struggles.
What a joy to know that our kids are caring for others now. It makes our future look so bright!
