About you:

You may have contact centre experience, or maybe not. While phone customer service experience and tertiary qualifications in Communication, Business, Social Media, Marketing or related fields will be highly regarded, we are open to applicants with relevant transferable skills. 

What is essential is your drive, strategic planning strengths, ability to handle high volumes of calls quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment, love of helping people over the phone, and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a business environment.

About the job:

We are looking for a mix of full time, part time and casual staff to join our contact centre team for shifts Monday to Sunday. 

In this role you will answer inbound calls, texts and online requests from donors and allocate donation pick ups for our drivers to collect in an efficient and timely manner.

As part of a rapidly growing local charity there will be opportunities for you to move into other roles as we grow that could include e-commerce, social media, leadership, marketing, fundraising, administration or a transfer to another existing role in our organization.

We are also offering traineeships in Cert IV Business for successful candidates who are interested in increasing their qualifications while working.

Flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm may be offered to team members as we endeavour to align your best time of day with business needs (this could mean early starts for early birds and late starts for night owls).

What you will do in this job:

  • Engage with donors as the primary point of contact for all enquires, answering phone calls, text messages and online enquires through our cloud-based software
  • Arrange pick up of donations for Collection driver’s run in an efficient way
  • Provide office support for Collection drivers
  • Answer enquires about other departments of Church 4 Life Charities
  • Other tasks will be allocated to different team members according to interest, experience and business needs in social media, general administration, marketing and promotion, fundraising and ecommerce.

About the job:

In this role you will manage the daily operations of our Distributors, Collectors and Donor Services teams as well as heading out in one of our vehicles to help the Collectors Team pick up donations from donors.

You will be responsible for strategic workflow management in preparing routes for teams to distribute our blue bags and collect donations in an efficient way to meet KPI’s.

One of our mandates is to help people who struggle to find work. As leader of this team, you will have the privilege of helping unemployed people re-enter the workforce.

This job will give you the best of both the worlds of working indoors and working outdoors. Each morning you will prioritize team member’s work for the day, run them through a quick WHS Toolbox Talk and get them on their way. We are looking for a motivated person to distribute bags and flyers to letterboxes.

We have 2 permanent full time positions currently available. One based on the Central Coast and one based in Newcastle.

You will be working from home most days and coming into the office as needed, usually once a week. 

This is a “Lockdown Friendly” role.

What you will do in this job:

  • Distribute bags and/or flyers to mailboxes in given areas, meeting minimum daily targets
  • Read maps
  • Mark and return maps in a timely manner
  • Work towards team goals
  • Cleaning and general maintenance of motorcycle e.g. tyres, oil
  • Report mechanical concerns for motor bike

Working in our warehouse at Warners Bay this role requires you to be physically fit and strong and highly self-motivated to work with your team to process each day’s donations within the shift.

This role would ideally suit university students, including international university students looking for work around studies and recent High School graduates.

About you:
You may have recent retail experience, or maybe not. While relevant industry experience
and tertiary qualifications in Retail, Business, Marketing or related fields will be highly
regarded, we are open to applicants with relevant transferable skills.
What is essential is your drive, passion, leadership skills and proven ability to deliver
outstanding results in a business environment.
You will need to be a person with high energy and physically fit as this role is very hands on
and requires regular manual handling.
This role may be ideal for a Mum looking to re-enter the workforce with part time hours.

About the job:
Our Tanilba Bay Op Shop has been serving the Tilligerry community since 2009. We sell a
mix of pre-loved and brand new items and have created a shop where the good things to be
found go beyond great products.
Recently a member of our team has retired, creating this opportunity for a new person to
join us in a permanent part time role Monday – Wednesday.
With this role comes the offer of a generous charity salary sacrifice package.

What you will do in this job:

  • Be responsible for the daily operations of our op shop
  • Coordinate a friendly and productive team of volunteers
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Be responsible for stock control, rotation and pricing
  • Be responsible merchandising and store presentation including cleaning and tidying
  • Post daily on our social media sites developing a strong following
  • Accepting and processing of donations
  • Meet sales targets and organisational KPI’s
  • Follow and promote company policies including WHS and CoVid Safe Practises
  • Coordinate with colleagues from other departments of Church 4 Life Charities
