It has been our delight to partner with Home In Place, a social housing charity, with our Hampers With Heart in 2022. Meg is the Community Participation Officer for their Lake Macquarie and Newcastle office.
We gave 9 Hampers With Heart to Meg, that blessed 32 people in our community who are doing it especially tough this Christmas. Recipients included a single Mum with 10 kids, an elderly gentleman with no family support fighting a terminal illness, victims of domestic violence and carers of children with disabilities.
She says, “It is wonderful to partner with Church 4 Life Charities and give, especially to single mums, who have been hit hard with inflation this year and have been worried about how they will provide Christmas for their families. They will be so grateful to receive these gifts and hampers. Thank you so much!”
