“It’s like Santa’s workshop in here!” Lyn and Ada came to help at Hampers with Heart.

“I always listen to Rhema FM in the car and I heard them announce that this was happening. So then I asked Ada if she’d like to come and join me to do this,” Lyn shared. “I wanted to find something that was really meaningful about Christmas and give back to the community. I wanted to help my daughter to feel part of it, part of the community, and like we are doing something to help other people.”

“I like to help other people, and it’s like we are the Santa’s to other people,” Ada added with a grin.

Lyn continued, “This is what Christmas is all about, giving and sharing and looking out for those who are less fortunate than us. I wanted to bring Ada because I wanted her to see what the Christmas is really about.”

Lyn and Ada were having a great time, choosing the items that were be best for each family together.
