Church 4 Life

When Glen’s Mum Liz suddenly passed away recently many people were devastated by her loss. Liz was the person that everyone turned to for help and support. She was a rock to those who loved her and the matriarch of a wide community of people.

Stricken with deep grief Glen couldn’t face seeing his Mum’s clothes and wanted them gone quickly. Seeing Emma at her funeral reminded him that she works in our charity.

“Would Church 4 Life take Mum’s clothes? Can they find someone who can use them?” He asked. Emma was able to provide comfort with a “Yes, we can do that for you” and arrange for them to get picked up to make it as easy as possible for Glen and the family.

We know that bereavement and moving to aged care facilities are very difficult times for everyone involved. We feel honoured that we can be there for people during these moments of grief and help them in letting go, as they know we will pass on their loved one’s items to someone in need.

Rest In Peace Liz, you are missed.
