When Ada finished high school she wasn’t sure which career path she wanted to take, but she found something she loves at Church 4 Life Charities.
“I work in in our Cardiff Op Shop and also in our warehouse Sorting Team where I select quality clothes for our stores. Working at Church 4 Life has helped me discover my strength in visual merchandising.
I also have a love for fashion and I get to put both of these skills to use everyday! Whether that be piecing specific items together to create an appealing display, or dressing mannequins in different outfits.
Working in the Op shop is very rewarding as I get to help people feel great about themselves everyday at a low cost for them.
I have also had the opportunity to develop strong relationships with people I otherwise wouldn’t have crossed paths with in life, such as the volunteers that I work alongside at the Op Shop and my colleagues in the warehouse.”
Ada’s eye for quality fashion pieces and talent for curating displays gives the Op Shop a warm and engaging atmosphere making it a great place to shop. Our Cardiff Op shop is open Monday – Friday from 9am – 3pm, and Saturdays from 9am – 3pm.
