In July 2022 our Managing Director Gail had the privilege of mentoring 4 amazing university students through the Study Australia Industry Experience Program (SAIEP).
It really was an international effort with students from South Africa, Vietnam, Mongolia and India who studying at Australian Macquarie University or Charles Sturt University. They called their group SoLife Opportunities as a connection to what we do here at Church 4 Life Charities.
These amazing students worked together to research and recommend a Social Media Strategic Report for Church 4 Life Charities. With their variety of Masters degrees, they put together an excellent report that has been presented to our Board and will be included in our strategic planning.
For Lynn, Le, Oyundari and Karthik it was a life changing experience to enter the world of not for profit businesses (aka charities). Charities are different to for profit businesses in many ways. We believe that this insight will help them not only be better in their chosen careers but also be better citizens in their local communities as they have seen the behind the scenes, business side of charity.
