Church 4 Life Clothing Collectors began when God tapped some of our Church 4 Life Board members on the shoulder and suggested we grew beyond just helping poor people in Australia to helping poor people elsewhere in the world.
As part of our planning process we picked Fiji as a place to start as Pastor Richard had contacts there. He went for a trip and asked Christian Entrepreneurs and Pastors how we could best help raise people out of poverty with a hand up that would break the poverty cycle. They suggested the model we use today.
On 4 April 2016 we were delighted with the privilege of a very special visit by Pastor Ivor, Pastor Helen and Renuka from our sister church in Fiji, Grace Community Church. They toured the warehouse to see what we do here to collect and process Aussie’s generous donations before they head out overseas.
Richard, Pete and Yvonne shared some stories and laughs with our Fijian guests while the rest of the Monday team continued working hard in the background processing clothes, shoes, bags and toys.
