155 Hampers With Heart
Here at Church 4 Life Charities we don’t know 155 families in need of hampers, but we know there are hundreds of people who could use a little extra this Christmas and we need your help to find them.
We have strictly limited funds for Hampers With Heart this year so unless we reach our fundraising target by 1 December we may need to restrict the number of Hampers With Heart we give out. People who have received a Hamper With Heart from us previously may be excluded this year if we need to restrict numbers.
Who are we looking for?
We are specifically looking for people who are doing it tough and are not likely to reach out for help from another charity this Christmas.
Often single parents or retirees will skip meals and not ask for help as they feel that if they ask for a hamper someone else will miss out. These are the wonderful people we want to bless with a Hamper.
If the person you are thinking of is likely to ask for help at another charity, maybe stop and think again. We prefer to not give people their second or third hamper for Christmas and instead find those people who will have nothing or very little to celebrate Christmas.
he final date for nominations is Friday 14th November 2025.
Nominations are not a guarantee a hamper will be given. You will be notified if your nomination is approved. Please only nominate people who really need it.
Please note: We only deliver hampers in the Central Coast and Hunter Regions of New South Wales, Australia.
Clues to find the Right Kind of People
- Do you know someone at your workplace, club, school or church who has recently lost their job or lost lots of shifts due to the cost of living crisis?
- Do you have a neighbour or friend who has lost their spouse or broken up with their partner and will be alone at Christmas?
- Do you know a single parent who may not be able to afford gifts for their kids this Christmas?
- Do you know someone who is struggling with injury or illness and unable to work?
- Do you know someone who doesn’t have family locally to spend Christmas with and may be alone on Christmas Day? They may be new to our area, a new Aussie or International Student.
