We would love to see singles, couples and families all be involved in this wonderful event. It is a great way we can all share Christmas love to those in need. Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.

We would love to have your school, group, church or company join us in this wonderful event.

Ways your group can get involved:

1. Fundraising or take a collection to sponsor a bunch of hampers
2. Do a Food and Gift Drive, collecting from your group
3. Promote our Hampers With Heart in your group and invite your members to join in
4. Come to our Hamper Packing Party as a group and have fun together
5. Your company may like to become a Corporate Sponsor
6. Your church may like to support us in prayer
7. Maybe your group knows people to nominate for Hampers

Corporate Sponsors can either donate financially or with goods that would be a great edition to our Hampers. Donations of $500 or more will earn you a place on our “Corporate Sponsors” wall and acknowledgement posts on all our socials.

If your company has goods that could be great additions to our hamper please call us on 0466 842 101 to discuss what you can offer. You may or may not have 222 items to donate so offer what you can. We’d love to partner with generous organisations who wish to be Corporate Sponsors.

Some of the hampers may be collected from us and most will be dropped off by one of our team.

Money raised for this project will be spent on a combination of goodies to fill the hampers, cute bags to put the hampers in, and some of the costs involved in Hamper Packing Day and distributing the hampers.

When Church 4 Life has collected for food hampers in the past, we have seen that sometimes we get a lot of one type of food donated e.g. lots of pasta but no pasta sauce so we may need to buy some items so recipients can make a meal. Or maybe we simply don’t receive enough food donated for the number of hampers we need.

We may also need to buy gifts if donations aren’t appropriate for the nominated people e.g. a gift for a 14-year-old boy.

Rest assured, any money donated to Hampers With Heart that is left over after all the Christmas hampers are filled and given out, will go into our “Pantry” account where we will use the money to provide hampers to those in need in throughout 2023.

Donations of $2 and more are tax deductible.

Each Hamper will include:

• Essentials like rice, milk, cereal and soap
• Christmas treats like chocolate biscuits, lollies or Christmas puddings
• A small gift for each family member
• A individualised Christmas card with Sponsors name and Packers name
• A lot of love from all of us

We’ll ask Santa. Just kidding. We have a standard process for allocating hampers throughout the year to those in need. We’ll simply use the same process but with extra generosity as it’s Christmas.

We haven’t given out this many hampers in one month before, so we are acting in faith. Faith that our community will get involved in all 4 ways so we can have enough food and funds to supply every deserving nominee with a Hamper tailored to their family.

If we get too many nominations we will do our very best to give everyone a little bit of something and spread out what we have. If we don’t get enough nominations we will keep the donations to give out as needed during the following few months.

Yes! We are proud to be a registered not for profit charity and meet the requirements under the ACNC Act.

We love providing our free service to the Hunter and Central Coast regions and will continue to help as many people as we can, who have been affected by poverty and financial stress.

If giving to ‘not for profit charities’ is important to you, please always check that the organisation you are donating to is registered with the ACNC first.
