One of the fun things about Hampers With Heart is that there are a bunch of different ways you can get involved. Although Fran had given groceries and gifts to Hampers With Heart in previous years, in 2025 she was inspired to not only enjoy the delight of shopping for groceries, she also saved some money to donate as well.
Fran shares “Giving to Hampers With Heart has made my Christmas! As Jesus Christ said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”. I’ve found that true and that little bit of extra joy at Christmas makes my life better.”
Fran was happy with what she had given and then one day, just before Christmas she found $50 randomly in the street. With no way of knowing who to return it to she prayed and asked Jesus what she should do. “I really felt God told me to give the money to Hampers With Heart!” she told us, “I just knew deep inside that this is where the money was supposed to go and that it would help someone who really needed it this Christmas.” Fran’s Christmas got so much better as had the bonus joy of giving an unexpected extra $50 to help someone in need. “It’s not often I hear from God so clearly. It was my special Christmas gift from heaven!”
